A Brief History
Shawn Michaels was born on the 22nd of July 1965, in San antonio Texas. His Real Name is Michael Shawn Hickenbottom.
Shawn Began his Wrestling Career in 1984 in the A.W.A., where he teamed up with Marty Jannetty, to form the Midnight Rockers
.
They enjoyed much success and won the tag team titles.
In 1988 They joined the WWF, and shortened their name to The Rockers. Despite being a good team they never won the wwf Tag Team belts.
Shawns solo Career started one fateful night when he used his trademark,"Sweet chin music" ( a martial art style kick to the face.) to put marty through the set window, on Brutus The Barber Beefcake's segment.
Shawn goes solo
Shawn's charactor developed into a cocky arrogant ladies man, and teaming up with sensational Sherri (Above) as his Valet, Shawns career continued to gather momentum. Shawn and Sherri's relationship was all on screen, they never dated for real.

In the following years Shawn teamed up with many superstars, such as Diesel and Pshyco Sid as well as joining up with groups of superstars Such as HHH,Chyna,Road Dogg and X-Pac to become, The Clique, and Degeneration X.
